How long does anybody who buys the electro program get the new updates 1.5, 2.0, 2.1, ..........2003 for free?
You have written that there wil be no other (foreign) languages for the program. Some programs like for instance clonyxxl work with a list of words/scentences which corresponds with lines in the program. There are a lot of people who translate these words/scentences for free. The autor of the program supports only the original version, but he supplies the translated versions for download.
For a free version of your electro program i would make a translation to Dutch.

On the subject of updates, my policy has always been that the major version numbers are what determine free updates. So, anyone that buys 1.5 will get 1.x for free, 2.0 they would have to pay for.
That being said, I haven\'t done an update for a considerable amount of time, and I don\'t currently have any concrete plans to do one. So if anyone reading this is hesitating purchasing in the hopes of a new verson soon, I wouldn\'t hesitate any longer.
When I do finally get around to a new version (I guess I should be honest and say IF I get around to a new version), it will be almost a complete re-write that will afford much more flexibility and tools, while lowering the memory footprint and speeding it up. It will absolutely be a 2.0 release and I think it will be a big enough change that people won\'t mind paying for it again, it\'ll really be like a whole new project.
